Employees, dealers, vendors, and special friends of Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing gathered at the new corporate office facility on I-30 Wednesday at mid-day to dedicate the building and celebrate its successful completion.
Founder and President Ricky baker started the business in 1976 while he was still in high school, said Director of Marketing Tammy Foster. "From the humble beginnings," said Foster, "to the industry leader that it is today, Big Tex has become known as the most diverse and largest utility trailer manufacturing company in America."
The ceremony began with an official flag raising ceremony starting, off with the American Flag raised by members of the United States Army.
The Texas flag followed, raised by long-time Big Tex Dealer Charlie McLemore, with company flags raised by employees of Big Tex, CM Trailers, CM Truck Beds, S&H Trailers, and TexTrail, all subsidiaries of Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing, Inc.
