Ronny R. Homer, 55, of Mount Pleasant died Friday, February 8, 2013 in Tyler. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Nevills Chapel Church with Bro. Glenn Griffith, Bro. Tommy Milam, and Corey Homer officiating. Interment followed at Gladewater Cemetery under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.

Mr. Homer was born January 24, 1958 in Mount Pleasant to Odis Dean Homer and Jan Homer. He was a supervisor for Luminant.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Homer of Mount Pleasant; mother, Jan Homer of Mount Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Casie Homer of McKinney; daughter, Kaci Homer of Mount Pleasant; daughter and son-in-law, Erika and Kyle Sears of Hutto; daughter, Melissa Finley of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and T.J. Lawrence of McKinney; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Sherrie Homer of Mount Pleasant; and grandchildren, Kylie, Kathryn, and YoSeb Sears and Landon, Lillie, and Lincoln Lawrence.

He is preceded in death by his father, Odis Dean Homer.

Visitation was held from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013.
